The West Alabama Crappie Association is a new club formed in February 2007 by a group of local anglers from the Fayette, Alabama area. We are a State of Alabama non-profit fishing organization. The goal was simply to have some fun, catch a few fish, and maybe improve on our fishing skills. Also one of our core values is family participation.To ensure this we will keep entry fees and membership dues low and encourage husband/wife and adult/youth teams to participate.

We fish monthly tournaments from February thru June and September thru November...The WACA is a team format only, teams must go through the year together...A team member can fish alone...Yearly membership dues are $30 per member...Tournament entry fees are $35 per boat...We weigh-in 7 fish and they must be 10 inches long.
